Glee nominated for a GLAAD AwardSmash hit U.S television series, Glee, has just been nominated for yet another award. The show took home an impressive 3 Golden Globes last weekend and is now up for a a prize at the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation Media Awards (GLAAD). The ceremony will take place in New York City's Times Square on March 19 and Glee is up against Greek, Modern Family, Nurse Jackie and United States of Tara in the Outstanding Comedy Series category. The organisation's website explains both what it strives for and what it recognizes as important: "The GLAAD Media Awards recognize and honor media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community and the issues that affect their lives."
