Janet Jackson talks about a potential new album

Janet Jackson, 44, has spoken out about the possibility of a forthcoming album.

The singer recently quashed rumours about her retirement from music by talking to the LA Times and explaining:

“I’ll just have to fit it in while on tour.”

"No rush, no deadlines, just create - see what I’m feeling, see where the music goes. I want to see where I am in my life at that moment."

Her latest release is the ‘Number Ones’ LP and she said of her studio recordings:

“My albums were my journals. I don't normally go back and listen to my music unless I'm working on a project or it's a tour. But it made me really smile and reminisce a great deal, so it was nice.”
