The announcement of the ‘DEADGIRL’ mixtape follows shortly after Mimi Barks was awarded ‘The Disrupter’ award at the official Kerrang! Awards 2022. Her recent singles have seen her championed at radio by Nels Hylton of BBC Radio 1’s Future Alternative and both Alex Baker and Johnny Doom of Kerrang Radio. She graced both Kerrang!
