Jessie J admits she still can’t believe people pay her to sing

Jessie J has admitted that she still finds it hard to believe that people pay her to sing.

The 24-year-old, who yesterday performed her number one hit, ‘Price Tag,’ with Rizzle Kicks at the Capital Summertime Ball, told Grazia magazine that she considers herself very lucky to be a performer for a living:

“I get to go out on stage and see thousands of people singing the words to my songs and that is for me 'the dream experience.'

“Well, that and playing at being a lion with my nephews. You've got to keep it real.”

The Voice coach, who yesterday revealed she would be up for a collaboration with Katy Perry, also went on to confess that she doesn’t see anything wrong with occasionally acting like a diva:

“Sometimes you have to be a diva. All the artists I admire, from Madonna to Whitney to Mariah, have been called divas.

“If you are strong, if you have vision, if you are an artist, you have to do what you believe in. And if you get called a diva for it, so what?”
