Mum thanks Jessie J for singing daughter out of coma

A mum has credited Jessie J for her daughter’s recovery after the 'Price Tag' star helped to sing her out of a coma.

Six-year-old Tyla Atkin, who was left fighting for her life after a lorry smashed into the car she was in back in April, stirred from an eight-day induced coma after the 24-year-old serenaded her with her favourite song, ‘Rainbow.’

Mum Michelle told The Sun that she can’t thank Jessie enough for her visit at London’s Great Ormond Street Hospital:

“Doctors say you have to keep talking to people in comas to keep them focused and connected. I believe Jessie J saved Tyla. She gave my daughter back to me. I’m so grateful.

"It was amazing. She seemed to really understand what we were going through.”

Tyla, who is now out playing normally with friends in the park, said that she loves Jessie J ‘with all her heart.’

“I’ve got a picture of her. I always put my hand on it and pray.”
