Songstress Jessie J has joked she doesn't sit watching TV in a "catsuit or leotard".

The British pop star is famed for her eye-catching attire, regularly taking to the stage in animal-print attire and skin-tight clothing.

Jessie says despite her choice of head-turning performance outfits, she prefers to stay casual when she's not on stage.

She explained to Top of the Pops magazine: ''I don't sit and watch TV in a catsuit or a leotard. No show clothes. I put on baggy sweatpants and a baggy T-shirt.

She added: ''Comfy clothes, nothing tight - most of the time I'm at home, I'm in a dressing gown and slippers.''

Jessie loves snug clothing so much, she even has a collection building up.

She admitted: ''This is a little secret ... I collect dressing gowns. I've got about six in storage, I've got vintage ones and hand-stitched ones.

''I've got some striped silk ones from American Apparel. Then I've got this thick woolly one that I actually bought from a hotel in China!

''It was so amazing that I couldn't let it go, so I bought four of them for my mum, my sisters and me.

''I'm a dressing gown person.''
