'Price Tag' superstar Jessie J has revealed that she has a guilty pleasure for TV cooking competitions and would jump at the chance to be a contestant on one. 

She confessed that she enjoys watching celebrity chefs and ordinary people alike attempt to make fancy dishes, but she can only really cook soup well as she's always on the road and has no time to perfect her skills in the kitchen. The singer said in a Google+ Hangout chat from Rio:

"Ah, I would love to go on 'Come Dine With Me'! Sadly I've never been asked because apparently soup isn't food! I think it's an important thing to be able to survive on your own...I live on takeaway and room service so when I go home I enjoy being in my home and making it feel like a home, which for me is cooking!"

Earlier today (September 18), Jessie J shared a photograph via her Instagram page and told fans that she's so excited for the impending release of her new studio album, 'Alive', which is due to drop on September 23t:

"It's REAL! "ALIVE" out in 5 days! Woooooooo!"
