Justin Bieber hits out at "sad" media following Atlanta move petition hoax

Canadian teen sensation Justin Bieber was the centre of a silly media hoax earlier this week when it was revealed that a petition set up to keep him from moving to a neighbourhood in Georgia was made up by a radio station, and he has now hit out at the press for being so "sad".

Writing on his official Twitter page earlier today (February 25), the heartthrob explained that he was shocked and disgusted to think that a radio station had created something so negative for the sake of cheap entertainment:

"Sad how media doesn't believe in fact checking anymore. Report real things not fake things. wow. I love GA. By the way... never even looked at that house."

He returned to the social networking site shortly after and added: "Me, my team, and my beliebers we are focused on the music. that is what matters. much love to everybody. B-day week. Wish the world would learn to believe in the goodness in people and be kind to one another. Together we can change the world."
