Canadian sensation Justin Bieber and British boyband The Wanted have both been confirmed to perform at this year's Billboard Music Awards.

The ceremony is set to take place on May 20 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas and it will see live sets from the 'Baby' hitmaker and 'Chasing The Sun' stars alike, as well as performances from LMFAO and country singer Carrie Underwood.

Bieber and The Wanted recently became acquainted after the 18-year-old heartthrob's manager, Scooter Braun, began helping the UK based 5-piece with their career in America.

Bieber was recently treated to a sneak preview of The Wanted's new music video for 'Chasing The Sun' and tweeted about his excitement for its impending release: "Just saw your new video with scooter. SICK!"
