Canadian sensation Justin Bieber has been nominated for a whopping 5 Teen Choice Awards.

The 18-year-old hitmaker, who is set to unveil his new album 'Believe' later this summer, has been recognised in the Choice Male Artist, Choice Male Hottie, Choice Fashion Icon: Male, Choice Twit and Choice Single by a Male Artist (for 'Boyfriend) categories. 

The list of nominees for the 2012 ceremony is extensive, but Adele, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Katy Perry and Jennifer Lopez all scored several nods apiece in the female music categories.

Winners will be decided by the votes of 13-19 year-olds and the results will be announced on July 22 in a star-studded live ceremony on FOX television.

Bieber is set to perform on the Billboard Music Awards this coming Sunday (May 20) and tweeted a link to a video of himself rehearsing for the ceremony earlier today.
