Justin Bieber has thanked One Direction stars Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik for defending him after a run-in with a cameraman.

As previously reported, the 'Believe' star recently hit the headlines after appearing to have a go at a member of the paparazzi outside his hotel in London.

One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson defended Bieber by claiming the star's actions were normal of a 19-year-old.

Bandmate Zayn Malik also showed his support for the embattled Canadian, saying that he has "got his back".

Bieber then responded in gratitude, tweeting: "Thanks fellas. all good over here. much appreciated."

The incident rounded off a tough couple of weeks for the singer, who had previously turned up late for a show at London's O2 Arena and also suffered breathing problems during a gig. Watch Justin Bieber scuffle with a cameraman below:
