Justin Timberlake on course to for chart record with comeback single

Hollywood superstar and singer Justin Timberlake made his return to music earlier this week and it has now been reported that he's on his way to break an impressive chart record.

'Suit & Tie', which is his brand new single that also features Jay-Z, dropped on Monday morning (January 14) and has already peaked at No.1 on both the UK and U.S. iTunes stores.

Billboard has confirmed that the track is on course to have the biggest sales week for a download since the release of Taylor Swift's 'I Knew You Were Trouble', and is likely to shift 400,000 copies in just seven days. Swift's song sold 416,000 units in its first week back in October 2012.

Timberlake took to his official Twitter page earlier today to thank his fans for the incredible support and enthusiasm for his new music, and wrote: "So humbled by all of this. This day has been TOO crazy. I just have to say it one more time to all of you guys and gals... THANK YOU!!"
