Kanye West's movie inspirationRapper Kanye West has revealed that his new short film, 'Runaway', was inspired by the movie-making efforts of Michael Jackson and Prince. The film, which is 35 minutes long and directed by Hype Williams, tells the story of West’s relationship with a girl who falls to earth and turns out to be a phoenix. Speaking of the film, West said 'Runaway' should be viewed as a ‘modern version’ of Jackson’s 'Thriller' or Prince’s 'Purple Rain'. The soundtrack is taken mostly from West’s latest LP, ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’, which is released on November 22. West’s latest single, also called 'Runaway', is out now.
