Kim Kardashian's mother Kris Jenner has confirmed that her daughter is engaged to Kanye West.

Rumours have been circulating that the US rapper popped the question on Monday night (October 21) on the reality star's 33rd birthday in a lavish ceremony.

Speaking to E!, Jenner said:

A match made in heaven! I am so happy for both of my kids, Kim and Kanye."

It is said that West rented out the AT&T Park stadium in San Francisco for his proposal, with a 50-piece orchestra performing.

They reportedly ran through Lana Del Rey's 'Young and Beautiful' and Keri Hilson, Ne-Yo and West's 'Knock You Down'.

A photo has since surfaced of Kardashian reportedly showing off her plush 15-carat engagement ring, which can be seen below.

Kim's sister Khloe tweeted: "Wow!!!!! Am I dreaming??!?! Tears of JOY!!!!!!! Wow!!!!!!"

West and Kardashian meanwhile had their first baby North earlier this year.
