Kelly Clarkson confirmed for Country Music Awards performance
'I Do Not Hook Up' sensation Kelly Clarkson is amongst one of the first performers to be confirmed for this year's Country Music Association Awards ceremony.
The event, which will be hosted by Carrie Underwood and Brad Paisley, is due to take place at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena on Thursday, November 1 and Clarkson will treat both attendees and viewers at home to a live set, and country singer Jason Aldean has been named as a performer, too.
Little Big Town and Dierks Bentley will also both take the stage on the night for live performances.
'We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together' sweetheart Taylor Swift has been nominated for 3 prizes, including the coveted Entertainer of the Year title, Kelly Clarkson is up for Female Vocalist of the Year, and Lady Antebellum are in the running for 2 awards.
