US songstress Kelly Clarkson has unveiled the cover art for her new single 'Tie It Up'.

The 31-year-old star posted the image on her WhoSay page, showing her wearing a wedding dress and veil.

Clarkson is also seen holding a yellow bouquet in the picture and her wrist is tied with rope to somebody else.

The songstress also revealed to fans on her Twitter page that she will be performing the country track at the CMA Music Festival tonight (June 8).

She wrote: "Can't wait to perform my next country single tonight at #CMAfest!!! #TieItUp WHO'S READY?!!!!!! (sic)."

The festival features performances from a host of worldwide country stars including '22' hitmaker Taylor Swift and Keith Urban.

The event is currently taking place in Nashville, Tennessee.

Clarkson recently released single 'People Like Us' from her 'Greatest Hits: Chapter One' album.
