Sharon Osbourne has updated fans on the condition of her daughter Kelly after she suffered a seizure.

As previously reported by Pressparty, the former singer fell ill on the set of TV show Fashion Police recently and was taken to hospital.

Kelly Osbourne tweeted that doctors were looking into exactly why she had an unexpected seizure.

Her mother Sharon has now confirmed that she is doing well, tweeting:

"I want to thank everyone for their concern about @MissKellyO. She's doing fine she's at Cedars and is surrounded by the best doctors & love."

Joan Rivers' daughter Melissa, who was on the Fashion Police set at the time, told ET Online that the whole incident was "scary". She said:

"More than anything it was just scary. I just laid on the ground holding on to her until the paramedics came. She was disoriented and I just laid on the ground with her to keep her down because she kept trying to stand up. I made her look at me. I said, 'I'm here, stay with me, it's all fine'. I explained where we were."
