Lady Gaga surprises young fan

Shortly after Lady Gaga's audio for her new single, 'Born This Way', surfaced on February 11 many fan covers also began appearing, but there was one in particular that caught Gaga's attention.

Maria Aragon is a ten year old girl from Winnipeg, Canada who on February 16 posted a video of herself performing an acoustic version of the track on her keyboard. The clip soon went viral and has since notched up over 7 million views, which is incredible considering Gaga's official YouTube audio is at 14 million, causing the 'Poker Face' star to notice the young talent.

Lady Gaga called into Toronto's Virgin Radio to send a message to Aragon:

"Well I want to tell you something Maria, not only do you have a beautiful voice and are a joy to watch but every once in a while, whether people believe it or not I have a very bad day."

"I was not having such a good day and when Perez sent me the video of you singing 'Born This Way' I was so overjoyed that I began to cry. I was so happy. This industry is very difficult to live in sometimes and they want to tear us down and tear us apart."

"When I saw you so young and so beautiful singing those words so purely, it reminded me why I wrote those words in the first place."
