Lady Gaga was last night's (November 13) musical guest on The X Factor and she revealed that 2012 will see her return to the UK for a tour that's set to be "bigger and better than ever". 

The superstar performed her new single 'Marry The Night' and spoke briefly to host Dermot O'Leary about her plans for next year, confirming:

"I'm gonna be here (in Britain) next year for my next tour. I just finished designing the stage and it's bigger and better than ever. I'm so happy. I can't wait to see you all there."

Following her appearance on the talent show, Gaga took to Twitter to tell her 15.7 million followers that she has almost finished editing her first "two films as director" and wrote:

"Been up all night editing my first TWO films as director! Marry The Night Video + "A Very Gaga Thanksgiving" the 2nd airing on thanksgiving (November 24)."
