Lady GaGa breaks US airplay record

Lady GaGa has set the record for the most weekly US radio plays with her current single 'Bad Romance'.

According to Nielsen BDS, the track registered 10,859 plays in the week of January 11 to 17, the most in the 17-year history of Billboard's Pop Songs radio airplay tally. 'Bad Romance' received an average of 84 plays on each of the 130 stations monitored last week, the equivalent of one spin every two hours.

Lady GaGa's hit 'Poker Face' completes the top five, getting 10,379 plays in one week last year.
