Lady Gaga can't wait to 'make it up to' fans with 'Applause' video premiere

Pop sensation Lady Gaga has revealed that she's nervous ahead of today's (August 19) premiere of her music video for 'Applause' because she feels as though she is making it up to her fans after cancelling the remaining dates of her 'Born This Way Ball' earlier this year due to injury.

She is set to debut the highly anticipated music video later this morning in New York's Times Square at 8am (EDT) and recently confessed to her Little Monsters that it is "inspired by the entertainer's passion for shapeshifting".

Writing on Twitter in the past few hours, Gaga explained that she's "grateful" for her fans' unwavering support and can't wait to share this new project (pictured below) with them because she felt like she let them down when she suffered her hip injury and had to pull out of her tour:

"Ok lets start over! Im so excited to see u at the premiere of my video @gma in 8 hrs! I am grateful to share this new experience with you! I've thought of u fans every moment since the last BTWBall, & dreamt everyday how I could make it up to u. Only w your happiness comes mine."

"Good night little monsters, thank you for believing I me. You are my everything, be good camping out see you in 6.5 hrs!"
