Leona Lewis has given fans a taste of her new material.

The singer had been teasing a surprise due to be unveiled this morning (December 19) and it arrived in the form of a Facebook video.

It sees Lewis run through a section of a new song.

The former X Factor star is seen playing piano and singing with a sole drummer as accompanient.

The video's caption reads: "Getting ready for 2015..."

Lewis's last full original album meanwhile came in the shape of 2012's 'Glassheart'.
