Grammys producer apologises to Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor after live cut-offThe Grammy Awards' executive producer has reached out to Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor after he slammed the show for cutting off his band's slot. The alternative group were part of a finale mash-up featuring Dave Grohl, Queens of the Stone Age and Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham. However, due to timing issues, adverts started playing for the rock collective finished their final song. This particularly irked Nine Inch Nails mainman Trent Reznor, who tweeted: "Music's biggest night... to be disrespected. A heartfelt F**K YOU guys." Executive producer Ken Ehrlich has now apologised, telling the Hollywood Reporter: "I'm sorry he was upset. I was really thrilled that we were finally getting him on the Grammys. The final jam started with Arcade Fire a few years ago, and LL Cool J last year. I want to end on a high, an up note.
