Prince is set to play yet another surprise show in London tonight (February 9) at Shepherd's Bush Empire.

News of the ‘Purple Rain’ legend playing the 2000-capacity venue, as part of his ‘Hit and Run’ tour, was confirmed by BBC 6music earlier this morning.

Tickets are available on the door on a first come, first served basis.

Doors at the venue will open at 7pm and the show will begin at 8pm.

Prince touched down in London earlier this week and has been playing surprise shows in the city with little prior notice.

The Minneapolis musician kicked off his London activities by holding a press conference at the home of singer Lianne La Havas. He then played an open soundcheck at the Electric Ballroom on February 4 and returned to the same venue the following day to play a further two successive shows on the same night.
