Katy Perry's 'Prismatic' tour costume designer: 'Her creative involvement was daily'

The tour designer for Katy Perry's new Prismatic jaunt, Marina Toybina, has revealed that the pop sensation was very hands-on when it came to dreaming up ideas for how her new stage show should look.

Speaking to Pret-A-Porter about the fashion she created for the dates, Toybina admitted that it was a quick process and everything was overseen by the 'Dark Horse' superstar:

"Once the creative concepts/sketches were approved by Katy, the design process began almost immediately. The prepping and sourcing of proper elements, vendors and materials were in motion even during the conceptual stages."

"Her creative involvement was daily, down to us deciding together on trims, final prints, specific materials and colour spectrum for any and all digital artwork."

Perry took to her official Twitter page earlier today (May 23) and joked to her followers that she still feels like a kid despite being close to 30-years-old: "Sometimes it feels weird being a child in this adult body."
