Drugs test urged for One Direction ahead of Philippines gig

An anti-drugs group want One Direction to take substance tests when they arrive in the Philippines next year.

The British-Irish boyband are due to play in Manila on March 21 next year as part of their On The Road Again tour.

However, the group's Zayn Malik and Louis Tomlinson were recently seen smoking marijuana in a leaked video.

This has angered anti-drugs group Laban ng Pamilyang Pilipino, who have held a press conference to state that the band should undergo drugs tests when they arrive at Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

They also want One Direction to be under the surveillence of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) before and after their show.

The band are also due to play shows in countries like Thailand and Singapore on the wide-reaching tour.
