5 Seconds of Summer have opened up about one of their new songs.

The Australian group are due to release their self-titled debut album in the UK on June 30.

They have been uploading short videos on YouTube of themselves talking about every one of the record's songs.

The latest clip sees 5 Seconds of Summer discuss 'Long Way Home'.

They spoke about how they teamed up with All Time Low's Alex Gaskarth to write the song, with the chorus coming almost instantly to the two parties.

The band meanwhile hit No.2 in the UK on Sunday (June 22) with their new single 'Don't Stop'.
