Metro Station reunite with new tour and EP'Shake It' hitmakers Metro Station, who announced their split back in 2010, have now reformed and revealed that they'll be releasing a new EP along with heading out on tour later this year. Trace Cyrus, half-brother of Miley Cyrus, took to the band's official Twitter page earlier tonight (August 12) and told fans that he's excited to be back in the band: "Hey guy Trace Cyrus here! Yes it's true I'm back in Metro Station!!! Check out new music video now. Also on iTunes!!!" He also recently spoke to Billboard about the reunion, admitting that they didn't expect to get back together: "After over four years of being apart, fans -- and even myself -- thought this would never happen. I’m extremely excited to be making amazing music with Mason as Metro Station again. We started this band together and it only feels right we finish what we started." "We’ve been out of the scene for a while now, but I truly think this time apart has helped us grow as a band. We feel stronger and more united than we’ve ever felt before. We are ready to get back out on the road and reconnect with our fans. This is just the beginning of our journey.” The full list of tour dates can be seen here: October 21 / Salt Lake City, UT / In The Venue Follow us: @Pressparty on Twitter / Pressparty on Facebook.
