AC/DC announce new album and world tour plans

AC/DC have confirmed plans to release a new album.

The iconic Australian rockers will unleash 'Rock or Bust' on December 1.

The album will feature eleven tracks and it was recorded with Brendan O'Brien and Mike Fraser earlier this year.

A preview of the song 'Play Ball' will debut from September 27 as part of the 2014 Major League Baseball postseason campaign on TBS.

AC/DC also confirmed that they plan to embark on a world tour in 2015.

However, the reveal came in addition to the news that rhythm guitarist Malcolm Young has left the band due to illness.

His nephew Stevie Young - who has previously filled in on guitar - will take his place.

AC/DC's last studio album 'Black Ice' was released in 2008.
