Lionel Richie: 'Miley Cyrus and Justin Bieber won't enjoy longevity''Dancing On The Ceiling' sensation Lionel Richie has revealed that he thinks Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus will fade out of the spotlight soon enough because they don't have strong enough bodies of work. Speaking to London's Evening Standard newspaper, the singer admitted that hitmakers such as Bieber and Cyrus aren't doing anything different and don't have that unique style that can help an artist achieve longevity in the music industry: "Twenty years from now, let's take anybody - where's the body of work? I'm going to judge you not by your popularity but by your longevity, your staying records. I'm thinking about Miley, Justin Bieber... We've made amateur music mainstream. There's a difference between a stylist and a singer - everybody can sing! Go to karaoke - there are some guys seriously singing their asses off! But do they have a unique voice, or distinct voice?" The star, meanwhile, has also just announced details of a full UK and Ireland headlining tour and the list of confirmed dates can be seen below: Tickets for the dates will go on sale from Friday (November 26).
