Miranda Lambert and Luke Bryan win big at ACM Awards

Miranda Lambert and Luke Bryan were among the main winners at this year's ACM Awards.

The former pocketed three gongs at the country awards, whilst the latter bagged the Entertainer of the Year and Vocal Event of the Year prizes.

The awards ceremony was held on Sunday (April 19) in Texas as it celebrated its 50th anniversary.

Lambert was the main winner as she collected the Song of the Year ('Automatic'), Album of the Year ('Platinum') and Female Vocalist of the Year awards,

She said on stage after winning the latter gong: "I love my job so much, I will never not love this job. Thank you to the fans that make it possible for us to do what we do."

Other winners included Jason Aldean (Male Vocalist of the Year), Florida Georgia Line (Vocal Duo and Musical Event of the Year) and Little Big Town (Vocal Group of the Year).

Six 50th Anniversary Milestone awards were also given out on the night, with the likes of Lambert and Taylor Swift being honoured.
