Josh Groban scores midweek UK No.1 album with 'Stages'Classical-crossover singer Josh Groban is on course to score his first-ever No.1 on the Official Albums Chart this week with his seventh studio album, 'Stages'. The album, which sees the star performing renditions of 15 theatre and film standards, looks set to surpass his 2013 No.9-peaking offering, 'All That Echoes'. Last week’s No.1, The Ultimate Collection by Paul Simon, has slipped to No.2 and Alabama Shakes are new at 3 with 'Sound And Colour'. Elsewhere on the UK Top 40, Ed Sheeran's 'x' is at No.4, James Bay's 'Chaos and the Calm' is at 5, and singer-songwriter Passenger is heading for his third Top 10 album this Sunday with 'Whispers II'.
