Ryan Murphy on Ariana Grande's 'Scream Queens' role: 'We work around her schedule'

TV producer Ryan Murphy has revealed that he and the other 'Scream Queens' producers wanted Ariana Grande to be on the show so much that they have worked their filming plans around her touring schedule.

Fox’s new horror-comedy Scream Queens, which boasts an all-star cast including Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele, Keke Palmer, Oliver Hudson, Abigail Breslin, Nick Jonas and Ariana Grande, is about a killer stalking a college sorority.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly about asking the 'Problem' superstar to be involved in the project, Murphy explained: "I met her and she had been a big fan of 'American Horror Story'. I pitched her the show, which she loved. We have to carve out amounts of time for her but I love her. She’s great and funny and she loves the genre of it. It’s the same thing with Nick Jonas. We work around their schedules."

On April 21, Grande took to her official Twitter page and told her followers that she's having the best time on set: "2nd day working on @screamqueens and wow i love everyone here."
