Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown look likely to dominate this year's BET Awards.

Both acts have received six nominations for the ceremony today (May 18) ahead of its big day in Los Angeles on June 28.

Minaj is up for awards such as Video of the Year, Best Collaboration, Best Female Hip-Hop Artist and Viewers Choice.

Brown meanwhile is one of the leading names in the Best Male R&B/Pop Artist section.

Beyoncé has four nominations, whilst Lil Wayne also has a quartet of nods.

The likes of Annie and Selma meanwhile will vie for the Best Movie prize.
