Fleetwood Mac have pulled a UK tour date scheduled to take place tonight (June 12).

The band were due to perform at the Manchester Arena.

However, after cancelling a recent show in Birmingham, the group have also axed tonight's gig.

The promoter commented: "We are very sorry to announce that tonight's Fleetwood Mac On With The Show tour date in Manchester, UK, has been cancelled due to illness.

"The band intend to resume the tour with their scheduled performance at the Isle of Wight Festival on Sunday, June 14."

The cancelled Birmingham show meanwhile has been rescheduled for July 7.
