Drummer Phil Rudd says he 'intends to get job back' with AC/DCPhil Rudd says he wants to return to AC/DC. The drummer has around seven months of detention left to serve after pleading guilty to threatening to kill as well as possession of marijuana and methamphetamine. Speaking in a new interview with TV3, Rudd said that he wants his job back in AC/DC. The drummer was replaced by Chris Slade for the band's current Rock Or Bust world tour. Rudd said: "I’ve never been fitter, I’ve never felt better, I’ve never been psychologically or physically in better shape my whole life, and I love playing. "I've realised who I am and what I can do, and I just want a chance to go out there and show everyone who the man is."
