Demi Lovato on 'Waiting For You': 'It tells you not to mess with me'Superstar Demi Lovato has opened up about a song on her new record called 'Waiting For You' and revealed that it's a statement about her strong spirit. During an interview with British newspaper The Sun, the songstress confessed that 'Waiting For You' was written to show the world that she's not a soft touch: "This song shows a side of me I've never shown before, and that's, 'Don't mess with me.'" "Let's just say not a lot of people try to pull that sh*t with me. But it's gonna happen. When you get two singers who both have 30million fans it's inevitable. It's like high school. But I respect bad b***hes like Rihanna and Nicki Minaj." Lovato also recently spoke to Billboard about the song she's most proud of on 'Confident', adding: "The last song that I recorded [for the album] was called ‘Father,’ and I’m particularly excited for this song. I get very, very honest about the passing of my dad." "My fans expect me to be honest, [but] what I think that people in general aren’t going to expect is the way that I sing the song. I took it more to a soulful, gospel kind of sound, and it’s the song that I think I might be most proud of on the album." Follow us: @Pressparty on Twitter / Pressparty on Facebook.
