Funeral For A Friend announce split and details of final UK tour

'Roses For The Dead' hitmakers Funeral For A Friend have announced that they will do one final tour before calling it a day.

The band have enjoyed great success over the last 14 and a half years and will hit the road in April next year for one last jaunt around the UK. The first show will take place on April 8 in Cardiff and the final gig is set to be held at the Shepherd's Bush Empire in London on April 16. Tickets for the dates go on sale this coming Friday.

Frontman Matthew Davies-Kreye issued a statement on the band's behalf, which reads:

"It's the natural end. We've done everything we set out to do and way more than I could ever have hoped so I'm not upset that it's run its course. We all felt that (2015 album) Chapter And Verse was a pretty decent full stop on an incredible 14 and half years of making music together. So, how do you celebrate a huge part of your life? You play some shows!"
