Mel B on Spice Girls 20th anniversary plans: 'All of us have to want it'

Singer Mel B has revealed that while it would be great to do something to celebrate the Spice Girls' upcoming 20th anniversary, it wouldn't feel right if one or more of the girls didn't want to be involved.

During a recent interview with America's Meredith Vieira, the star explained that all five of them have to be on board for the reunion to go ahead: "If we do something, it has to be all of us. That's the whole point [...] I'm forcing them a little bit. I've been saying it for five years - 'We are reuniting, aren't we?' Well, we need to."

Geri Halliwell told 'This Morning' that there have been talks for some kind of 20th anniversary event: "I think it's really flattering that people are still supportive of the Spice Girls individually and collectively, that's beautiful, it's really nice."

"It almost feels you know that it (the Spice Girls) belongs to everyone, like a generation. So I think it's one of those things that's been discussed, but until it's concrete I wouldn't announce it. I think it would be nice to celebrate it in some way. I can say that there's been talks! I think that's fair and honest."
