Ariana Grande on her new album: 'I didn't want to write about sad bulls**t'Songstress Ariana Grande has revealed that while her upcoming new album is her most personal yet, she didn't want to write about heartbreak and sadness. Speaking to V magazine, the beauty explained that she didn't dwell on her break-up from rapper Big Sean while writing her highly anticipated new studio album and instead chose to pen tracks about other topics: "You know, people found out quite [about the split] a while after it actually happened. By the time I was writing the new album, I had kind of moved on. It's not going to be captured on the album too much. I'm in a happy place. There aren't any breakup anthems because I had moved on. I was like, alright. Well, f**k it." "I think that's part of the reason I didn't want to make a p****d-off break-up song. I was not focused on that. Everything is nice and great right now... why would I write about some bulls**t? I'd rather write about some really lovely things that are going on."
