Upcoming singer and model Pia Mia has revealed the meaning of the lyrics to her hit single ‘Do It Again’.

The 19-year-old Guam-born star confounded the popular interpretation of the song, which features Chris Brown and Tyga, during an interview with Noisey.

She stated: “A lot of people think it’s about having a one-night stand, but let’s be real, I’ve never had a one-night stand before, so I couldn’t really speak on it.”

Explaining her intended meaning, Pia Mia said: “It’s basically about wanting to be more than just friends with someone you’re really close with, but you haven’t crossed the line yet.”

Pia Mia releases the follow-up to ‘Do It Again’ on October 30 with the single ‘Touch’.

Pia Mia rose to fame after Kim Kardashian-West posted a video of the teenager singing a cover of Drake’s ‘Hold On, We’re Going Home’ in front of the rapper himself as well as Kanye West.
