Prince postponed ticket sale in protest against toutsPrince appears to have postponed the ticket sale for a forthcoming UK tour in protest against touts. The singer had been due to sell tickets for three gigs in the country from 10am on Friday (November 13). However, official ticket sellers for the gigs - which are part of a piano and microphone European tour in December - stated that the sale was postponed. Prince's Twitter account later posted a series of criticisms against ticket touts who use reselling websites. Alongside a picture of a vulture, it wrote: "MULTIPLE CHOICE: A. SCAVENGER B. VULTURE C. TOUT D. ALL OF THE ABOVE." The account later posted an article from consumer magazine Which?, who have completed a study into ticket marketplace websites. They suggest that a number of people start selling tickets for events before they are officially on sale. A number of tweets from fans criticising touts were also posted. The Piano & A Microphone tour will open at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall on November 27. It will then head to London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane on November 29 before concluding at Birmingham's Symphony Hall on December 1. Follow us: @Pressparty on Twitter / Pressparty on Facebook.
