Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis has spoken about when she was dated Zayn Malik.

The Brit opened up about her liaison with the singer while appearing on Celebrity Big Brother.

She said he wanted to meet her in Leeds, with the pair enjoying a rendezvous at a hotel.

However, despite Malik's seeming desire, the duo didn't have sex.

Davis said: "He said 'I'm coming to Leeds this week, would you meet up with us?' And I said 'yeah, but I don't drive so my mum will have to drop me off'.

"We spent about three hours on the phone talking in the first conversation."

"I went to Leeds to meet him, and I went to his hotel room, but I thought I'm not that type of girl - to sleep with you straight away, I'll make you wait - so I just ended up kissing him."

The actress added that they stayed up until 4am talking, but Malik didn't want her to leave because they hadn't made their connection physical.

Davis also claimed that she was the one that broke everything off.
