He might have seemed like a fresh faced wannabe with a dream who was plucked out of obscurity by the ‘X Factor’, but it turns out Paije Richardson is more experienced than viewers may have known.

Reporters at the Daily Mail have uncovered that Paije actually made his first bid for a singing career as a 15-year-old on popular program ‘Stars In Their Eyes: Kids’.

The hopeful, now 20, donned a sparkly blue suit and wavy wig for his performance as classic soul man Jackie Wilson on the show in February 2006.

However, just as he was booted from ‘X Factor’, Richardson missed out on winning the competition to a Christina Aguilera impersonator named Sarah-Jane Davies.
