The British Phonographic Industry has announced its awards for this week and the likes of Jason Derulo, Beyoncé and Coldplay have now achieved exciting new sales milestones in the UK. 

Jason Derulo's self-titled album secured Platinum certification this afternoon (July 8), which means that it has sold over 300,000 copies since its release. Gregory Porter's fantastic 'Liquid Spirit' record achieved the same feat, and 'Runnin'' by Naughty Boy ft. Beyoncé is also now Platinum.

The single 'All My Friends' by Tinashe, Snake Hips and Chance The Rapper has reached Platinum heights, shifting over 600,000 copies, as has Coldplay's 'Hymn For The Weekend'.

Other singles to achieve Silver certification (200,000 copies or more) include Adele's 'Send My Love (To Your New Lover)', Nick Jonas' 'Close', and P!nk's 'Just Like Fire'.
