David Gest died as a result of a stroke, it has been confirmed.

The music producer and reality TV star was found dead in a Four Seasons hotel room in Canary Wharf, London on April 12.

He was aged 62 at the time of his passing.

His attorney Edward Bearman has now told The Sun that the cause of death as a stroke.

Gest's executor Gary Veazey also confirmed the same news.

No inquest will take place because he died from natural causes.
