Ryan Tedder says working with Ariana Grande and Stevie Wonder was a "highlight"

OneRepublic frontman and songwriter Ryan Tedder has revealed that working on the collaboration between Ariana Grande and Stevie Wonder was an amazing experience.

Chatting to Billboard about their session, which resulted in the song "Faith" that features on the soundtrack to the animated movie Sing, Tedder said that it was a serendipitous meeting of minds that was incredibly enjoyable:

"Stevie came in around 6pm, Ariana arrived at 10, and we stayed up until three in the morning and talked music for hours."

"The first song I ever learned on piano was I Just Called to Say I Love You. I told him (Stevie) that and he started playing it! Getting to know Stevie better has been a highlight. I'll wake up to him FaceTiming me, which is like the most bizarre experience."

The "Counting Stars" singer added: "He and Ariana hit it off; he was impressed by her vocals."
