The Weeknd replaces Metallica at top of Australia albums chartThe Weeknd has debuted at No.1 on Australia's ARIA albums chart with his new effort 'Starboy', displacing last week's top effort by Metallica. It gives the Canadian his second chart-topper in a row in the country after his 2015 sophomore record 'Beauty Behind The Madness' achieved the feat in September. This means that Metallica's 'Hardwired...To Self-Destruct' - their first album in eight years - drops to No.2, while Michael Bublé's 'Christmas' rises two places to No.3. John Farnham & Olivia Newton 'John’s Friends For Christmas' also rises two spots to No.4. Crowded House's 'Very Very Best Of' is up from No.14 to No.5 after the group were inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame at the end of November.
