Next year's Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees have been announced, with Tupac, Electric Light Orchestra and Pearl Jam among those set to be involved.

Also in line for induction are Joan Baez, Journey and Yes. The acts were picked from a shortlist of 19, with all bar Yes first-time nominees.

Next year's induction ceremony will take place at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on April 7. The show will be aired by CBS. Nile Rodgers, who recently confirmed that Chic will release a new album in 2017, will also receive a special award for musical excellence at the event.
