Mariah Carey’s husband Nick Cannon has confirmed that the couple will be welcoming twins this spring.

Mariah sparked speculation by referring to her ‘baby’ in the plural recently, saying: "I just hope they don't turn out hating Christmas!"

But now Nick Cannon has come clean with the news on his radio show, saying that President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle were among the first to know.

"[Mariah] shared with the President and First Lady that we are having twins."
